2019 is underway!
Six days removed from 2018, it's already been eventful.
I've managed to do the following:
*asked for and accepted help relaunching my website.
*completed the updates to the site.
*gave complete control of the new InstaGram page to someone (Yikes).
*fasted for five days.
*updating my blog as we speak.
*met with my therapist.
*spent time talking to my children.
*made it to work on time everyday.
*fought a round with vertigo.
*use my calendars (phone & wallet).
I've failed to write, until today, that is.
I have committed to writing and blogging weekly.
I do not want my 2019 to be a continuation of my 2018, 2017, nor my 2016. A new year is without meaning when you're comfortable. I am beyond uncomfortable with some things, so change begins...
Take a timeout. Sit quietly. Reset.
Remember your 'one word'...create.
Consider what you say and what you whisper. Don't say the right things, while thinking the wrong ones. Our thoughts should echo our words. Does what you say depend on your audience? Look at your last few social media posts... Does your thoughts mimic those things? What about your actions? I challenge you to be honest with yourself! Only you have the answers.
Have you prayed about it, as much as you've talked about it??? If I am being honest, my answer is "NOPE". Mentally, that has changed for me. I've realized who I can say what to or if I should say anything at all. I am definitely working on my prayer life, while eliminating relationships that do not nourish me (last year's one word commitment).
Remember what you want to achieve, where you want to go, and who you are.
Stay the course. Manage your time. Protect your energy.
Free your mind. Guard your heart. Work harder.
Believe that God will elevate you.
Pray.Purge. Pursue.
