Entering the New Year

In 2012, I read an interesting devotional about new year's resolutions (I'm sure I posted on this topic previously). I no longer make resolutions; it's a set up for failure.
I simply choose ONE word to live by for the year. It is easier to succeed.
I had gotten away from this practice the past two years, even though I chose a word last year (nourish). I kept telling myself, "if it doesn't nourish me, I don't need it". I managed to say it more than I lived by it.
I challenged my family, even my 8-year-old, to choose one word to live by in 2019.
*drum roolll pleeasseeee*
I am pleased to announce that my 2019 word is CREATE.
I will create a life worth living; one that I am functioning in my purpose, thriving in business, and experiencing peace.
Last year was called 20-GREAT-een. It was anything but great for me, so 2019 is personal.
I encourage you to make peace with 2018:
Pray about the ugly, purge the bad, pursue the good and respect it all.
Peace & Love.
Happy New Year
